Join us for the first HUGE comedy show of 2023!
The premise is simple (and organized chaos): 50 local & visiting comics take to the stage at the historic Bug Theatre to tell their first joke of the new year. The rules are that they have to have written it after the ball drops, and they can't perform it until 50 First Jokes. Every year's shows have packed the house, so buy your tickets early and don't miss out on this once-a-year event!
Hosted by local legends Christie Buchele & Matt Cobos. Final lineup to be announced, but past participants have included Josh Blue, Adam Cayton-Holland, Janae Burris, Andrew Orvedahl, and many, many more!
All proceeds will benefit a local nonprofit that the performers choose. Past beneficiaries have included Denver Food Rescue and The Gathering Place, along with GoFundMe fundraisers for local creative community members.
